Clara Mabee was nervous about modeling for me at first, but eventually her spunky energy surfaced and she was all smiles while she teased the camera. We shot in Denver, which has some painfully hot days in the summer, probably because it is located one mile closer to the Sun. I recently heard on a podcast that there is no way to escape magical origin stories when it comes to our existence. Even if you do not buy into any religious doctrines and if you only smoke what science sells you, everything in the universe was once packed tightly into a space equal to a grain of sand. Everything.
